This last weekend, the Kennesaw Skatepark was the scene of the Adidas Skate Copa skate event. Foundation Board member, Mr. Lee Elliott, used the Cobb Sports Alliance Activity Survey to assess the economic impact of this event and arrived at $73,250.  The event was a medium size event for this skatepark.  The skatepark has had larger events since its opening and has other events planned in the future with the potential to create even more substantial positive economic impact.
