The Swift-Cantrell Park Foundation is happy to announce that it will participate in this year’s Georgia Gives Day on December 3rd. Georgia Gives Day, commonly known as GAgives, is part of a larger giving day known as #GivingTuesday. The goal of Giving Tuesday is to combine efforts to achieve greater fundraising opportunities for smaller and larger charities alike. The movement also allows charitable donors to research and vet organizations to which they would like to give.

Giving Tuesday is now the third largest fundraising day of the year bringing in over $380 million to charities in 2018 alone. Similarly, GAgives has become the biggest 24 hours of giving in state history six times over. The organizations involved hope that number grows again in 2019.

This year’s GAgives day is December 3rd. Donations can be made to the Swift-Cantrell Park Foundation through their charity page on the GA Gives website. We hope you select The Swift-Cantrell Park Foundation as your charity of choice on this year’s GAgives Day.

The Swift-Cantrell Foundation was formed to assist the City of Kennesaw in raising funds for the Park’s Capital Improvements so the Masterplan can be achieved without putting the financial responsibility on the city taxpayer. The Foundation has helped fund the construction of the park’s Splash Pad, various shade structures, as well as the brand new inclusive playground.
