A Mother’s Day Race for More Play Space

Time: 7:30 a.m.

Almost $15,000 was raised for Swift-Cantrell Park at it’s second annual Swift-Cantrell Classic 5K on Saturday, May 7. Over 850 runners and walkers participated in the event, the first of six in the Kennesaw Grand Prix Series. The track ran from Kennesaw First Baptist Church through Swift-Cantrell Park and back up Main Street to end in downtown Kennesaw. Taking first in the men’s division was Daniel Bledsoe with a time of 16:21. In the women’s division Tara Mooney had the best time with 19:36. Visit our race results page for more specific results.
